Transforming Uninformative Priors

I'm pleased to say that one of Dr. Johnny Worthy's journal articles, Use of Uninformative Priors to Initialize State Estimation for Dynamical Systems (Advances in Space Research) has been made available online.

The paper discusses initialization of probability density functions (PDFs) using only a single measurement, and the constraints on transforming these PDFs in time and to other coordinate systems. The results are tightly related to Jeffrey's Prior, as well as other theoretical aspects of Uniformative Priors. Namely, Johnny is able to make an analytically rigorous connection between observability and consistency between PDFs initialized using different state space coordinates.

Please join me in congratulating Johnny on his latest publication!
