GT-SORT images first geostationary object using new CMOS sensor

GT-SORT imaged its first geostationary object, NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (catalog entry SDO 36395) last night using our new 6MP CMOS sensor, driver, and filter wheel. The image is a 5 second exposure with a Johnson UV filter. Hot pixels were not removed for this image.

Additional testing is planned tonight for a number of functions, including the high frame rate capture operational modes.
