RECONSO selected for University Nanosatellite Program (UNP-8) Phase B Funding

RECONSO team members at the UNP-8 Flight Competition Review

RECONSO has been selected by a panel of industry and government judges for Phase B of the University Nanosatellite Program (UNP-8). Phase B funding for UNP-8 involves additional funding to complete the RECONSO spacecraft as well as a launch slot in 2017. UNP-8 is funded by AFOSR and administered by AFRL. RECONSO team members participated in the Flight Competition Review yesterday and today on Kirkland AFB, NM, with students giving a presentation as well as an on-site hardware demonstration emphasizing the satellite’s core functionality.
